Lands Education Committee Service Includes: 

•Bible Study –

Coffee & Conversation on Wednesday mornings

Spiritual Guidance Group I & Spiritual Guidance Group II

Adult Education

Members are welcome to attend WOL Circle Groups for more Bible study

•Milestone Ministries –

Kindergarten receive devotionals

First Grade receives Martin Luther Catechisms

Second Grade memorizes the Ten Commandments; receives certificate/party

Third Grade receive Bibles; complete Bible study workbook; receives certificate/party

Fourth Grade reads the Book of Mark; completes study guide; receives certificate/party

Fifth Grade receive First Communion instruction from the Pastor; complete worksheets

Sixth Grade read the Bare Bones Bible; completes study guide; receives certificate/party

Seventh and Eighth Grade receive Confirmation instruction from the Pastor

•Together-in-Faith Teaching (student attending with their parents) -

Second Grade learns “What’s Fair?”

Third Grade receives instruction on “Opening Your Bible”

Fifth Grade study the life of Martin Luther over a four week course

Sixth Grade receives instruction on acolyte duties & lector reading before entering their Confirmation studies

•Other Activities -

Sunday School Rotation Curriculum and Activities, including Reward Markets

Sunday School Music Program – practice every Sunday morning

Students perform on Palm Sunday and other dates as requested

Serving Coffee Hour as scheduled
